Located in the charming town of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Rio Grande Winery offers a delightful retreat for wine aficionados and casual visitors alike. As RV travelers, we chose this location as a place to stop for the evening as a part of our Harvest Hosts membership.

We visited during early fall, when the weather was warm during the day but crisp in the evenings and morning, perfect for dry camping.
How You Can Participate at Rio Grande Winery for Harvest Host:
Indulge in locally crafted wines and brews or enjoy a bite from the local food truck. We highly recommend the green chili burger- a must try! You can enjoy your meal outside while listening to live entertainment and taking in breathtaking views of the Organ mountains.

Highlights:
- Ample Parking: Even on a busy Saturday, there was plenty of room for big rigs.
- Family Friendly: There was a great outdoor play area for kids. We grabbed a table nearby, letting them play while we sampled local libations and waited for dinner to arrive.
Tips for Harvest Host Visitors:
- Great Stop Along I-10: Perfect for travelers heading to or from Arizona and Texas, or those exploring local attractions.
- Arrive Early: The winery is busiest on Fridays and Saturdays, and the RV parking fills up quickly. If you are looking for the best views of the mountains, you may want to consider arriving early to snag a good spot.
