Located in the quaint town of Flora, Indiana, Heritage Farm Alpacas & Events is a delightful stopover for travelers. This has been one of our favorite places to stay through Harvests Hosts. Heritage Farm also hosts day visitors, farm experiences, weddings, and events!

During our early spring visit, the picturesque countryside was absolutely breathtaking. The farm offer easy RV parking on a spacious circle gravel drive. If you need power, the host provides optional 30-amp electrical services for a fee.
How You Can Participate at Heritage Farm for Harvest Hosts:
The farm store features a variety of alpaca wool products and plenty of alpaca-themed treasures. Perfect for souvenirs or gifts! My husband raves about his cozy and comfy alpaca wool socks. You can also support the farm by making a donation, which contributes to the food and care for the alpacas.

Despite the cool, rainy weather upon our arrival, we ventured out to explore. Following the hosts’ suggestion, we strolled along a scenic creek side trail, where the rain brought out the vibrant colors of early spring.
The creek would be an excellent place to explore during the warm summer months!
Once the sun came out, we toured the beautiful barn and took turns with the kids on the epic slide on the big hill in front of the barn.
We discovered the chicken coop, played with barn cats, and visited the stars of the farm…the alpacas!
