Our RV Life Review:
RV Life Trip Wizard was recommended to us by a friend, and I honestly do not know what we would do without it. Below we give our Review of the product and if we would buy it again. We start planning our trips 6-12 months in advance and this program gives you an excellent big picture of what your route will look like. We plug in our “big rocks” first to see our general route and then add stops from there. The campground and park reviews are usually spot on and are very helpful with planning where to stay.

Trip Settings
You can enter the specifications of your RV (as applicable), and the Trip Wizard will recommend routes according to the height, weight, and length (even whether or not you have propane on board) of your particular vehicle. You can track expenses for your trips, your fuel economy, and even set low fuel warnings so you know in advance when you will need to stop.
Trip Tools
They are constantly updating the features offered through the website as well as the app. There are options to print or export your trip; you can also share your trip with friends or family. You can enter preferred campground memberships or discount programs you participate in and RV Life will prioritize those campgrounds on your map with a unique pin.
RV Navigation
We’ve been fortunate after nearly two full years on the road that we have only been caught with height or weight issues towing our RV a few times. To be fair in this review the navigation is the part of the app that we use the least, but that has started to change for us. We still prefer using Google Maps while driving due to it’s traffic and routing options, but we do use the RV Life App as a tool. Before departing we double check that our route in Google matches what RV Life says so that we don’t have to make any tricky U-turns when we encounter a bridge with low clearance or weight restrictions.
Would We Buy It Again?
The short answer is yes, and we still have our membership. This has been an amazing tool and we recommend it to anyone who is preparing for or already out there traveling!
