Welcome Adventurers! We are Wander4Adventure, a family of four who are traveling the country in our RV, exploring new places, and finding our adventure. We started this blog to share our experiences (both good and bad) and lessons that we’ve learned along the way. From the places we’ve visited, our favorite hikes, RV tips and tricks, to traveling with young children, we hope that our experience helps to give others the courage to get out there and explore this beautiful country.
We love to be outside, whether on a family hike in the mountains, or a bike ride at the beach. We’d wake up on a Saturday morning after a long week of work and say “what are we going to do today…. let’s go find an adventure”!
We were looking for a way to combine our love of nature, homeschooling, and traveling. We came across other families on social media, who were traveling and RVing with their families. We loved the idea of having so much freedom and togetherness as a family. We never really pictured ourselves doing anything like that right now… maybe when the kids are older or maybe when we retire…
Until one night we had the conversation, well why not? Why not us? Why not now? That’s when things started to get a little scary…they started to become real! How is this all going to work, what do we buy, how do we want to travel? Where do we want to go?
Fast-forward a year… we traded our little SUV for a big ol’ truck and our boat for a 39-ft travel trailer. We started traveling to new places, visiting family all over the country, making new friends, and finding that adventure! It’s now been three years and sometimes we still can’t believe we made this happen. We took a leap of faith, got completely out of our comfort zones, and went for it!
We are so grateful for this opportunity to live our dream and to share it with you. We hope you enjoy our blog and follow us on our adventure. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions. We’d love to hear from you!
Happy travels! 😊
