Nestled in Flora, Indiana, Heritage Farm Alpacas & Events is a charming stopover for travelers. During our early spring visit, the picturesque countryside was breathtaking. The farm boasts easy RV parking on a spacious circle gravel drive. If you need power, the host does offer optional 30amp electrical services for a fee.

How You Can Participate at Heritage Farm Alpacas for Harvest Host:
The farm store features a variety of alpaca wool products, as well as plenty of alpaca-themed treasures. Perfect for souvenirs or gifts. My husband raves about his cozy and comfy alpaca wool socks! You can also donate to the farm as participation; contributions support the feed and care of the alpacas.
Despite the cool, rainy weather upon our arrival, we ventured out to explore. Following the hosts’ suggestion, we strolled by a scenic creekside trail, where the rain brought out the vibrant colors of early spring.
Once the sun came out, we toured the beautiful barn and took turns with the kids on the epic slide on the big hill in front of the barn. We discovered the chicken coop, played with barn cats, and visited the stars of the farm…the alpacas!
